On 28 May 2026, Michelin awarded one star to Mutra, Chef Raz Shabtai's North Miami restaurant. Independent Jewish and local reporting described the result as the first Michelin star awarded to a kosher restaurant. JWR's Enhanced FIRST Review separately checked earlier edge cases and found none that met the frozen definition of a fully kosher restaurant operating under recognized kosher supervision at the time of the Michelin award. Kosher Miami's current directory lists Mutra as a supervised meat establishment at 2188 NE 123rd Street in North Miami.
